The former 23 districts of Berlin were merged into twelve in the year 2001 for a
better administration, so today the districts has more than one lively
center.

In the year 2001 the former Berlin districts Charlottenburg and Wilmersdorf
were merge to one. Before and shortly after the Fall of the Berlin Wall this
is the most lively Berlin center. Although today Berlin has more than one
lively city center, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf still has a lot to offer.
There is the "Kudamm"
